This policy describes how RT Automation handles information when you visit the MCerberus® website, use the monitoring portal, or use a MCerberus® mobile application.

RT Automation provides MCerberus® products and related services. We use information as described below to operate and improve these services. We do not sell personal information.
Website analytics
We use StatCounter to understand how visitors use this website and to improve its content and operation. StatCounter may collect the date and time of a visit, IP address, browser and operating system, device or screen information, referring information, and the page address and title. StatCounter may use an analytics cookie to distinguish first-time and returning visits. See StatCounter’s cookie information and privacy policy. You can control cookies through your browser and use StatCounter’s analytics opt-out.
Monitoring portal
If you use the MCerberus® monitoring portal, information you submit—such as a monitoring-unit MAC ID and access code—is processed to authenticate your request and provide access to monitoring information. The portal also processes equipment readings and related timestamps to provide the monitoring service. Access to customer information is limited to the functions needed to operate and support the service.
Mobile applications
MCerberus® mobile applications provide access to the status of a monitoring system. The application may use a monitoring-unit MAC ID to identify the unit you choose to view. The app privacy information supplied by RT Automation states that this identifier is retained on your device and is not collected or stored by RT Automation through the mobile application.
Cookies and similar technologies
StatCounter may place analytics cookies in your browser to estimate unique visits and recognize returning visits. The monitoring portal may use cookies or similar technologies needed for functions such as maintaining a session. You can manage or block cookies through your browser; some portal functions may not work correctly if required cookies are blocked.
Service providers and external links
We may use service providers to host, operate, secure, or support our website and services, or to perform analytics. They may process information needed to perform those services and are expected to protect it and use it only for the assigned purpose. This website may also link to third-party sites, including product-ordering and video services. Those sites are operated independently; review their privacy policies before providing information.
Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information handled through our services. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
MCerberus® services are not directed to children under 13, and RT Automation does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
