Stay connected to the equipment you support.

MCerberus® adds remote visibility to selected HVAC operating signals, helping contractors and customers have more informed service conversations.

01

See operating signals

Depending on model and setup, monitor temperature sensors, blower current, water detection, and optional filter differential pressure.

02

Support ongoing service

Use monitoring information as an additional input when talking with customers about system behavior and service needs.

03

Choose the right configuration

MCB-410A and MCB-414A are available. The MCB-414A adds differential-pressure filter monitoring.

Choose a setup that fits the job.

Homeowners can use the simplified installation path for approximately 95% of monitoring capability. A full installation can add capabilities such as blower current monitoring and thermostat-signal monitoring. Work inside equipment and electrical connections should be handled by qualified or experienced personnel.

Both system models are available through the MCerberus Shopify store. The optional 24VAC-001 transformer supports Wi-Fi setup and simplified homeowner installation. Thermostat signal monitoring is unavailable in this power configuration; Delta P provides ON/OFF detection in the simplified installation.

See what your thermostat calls for—and how your HVAC system responds.

MCerberus® monitors thermostat signals alongside equipment measurements to help identify when system operation does not match the thermostat’s request.

Thermostat signals are the preferred method for detecting equipment ON/OFF state. Connections are optional: other supported methods include blower current and Delta P sensing, depending on installation and configuration.

Isolation relays on thermostat signal inputs help distinguish true thermostat calls from thermostat outputs with leakage current when OFF, reducing false ON indications.

Support for heat pump operation.

Current hardware detects reversing valve operation indirectly to help distinguish heating and cooling operation.

Planned for the next board: direct reversing valve signal measurement through the orange wire.
